CAIRO – 12 January 2022: The Sharjah Munshid [Chanting] program announced the end of the preliminary round for its 13th edition, where 1,240 talents of different nationalities and age groups submitted to the performance tests that took place in the United Arab Emirates, Algeria, Morocco, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and via the Internet.

 

 

 

 

Many contestants revealed outstanding talents in chanting, and one contestant from each country will be selected.

 

 

 

 

The Examination Committee of the program received 42 participants in Saudi Arabia, including singing talents from Yemen, Sudan and Syria.

 

 

 

 

Some 245 participants were in Algeria, and 59 were received in Jordan, including talents from Iraq, Syria and Palestine. Meanwhile, the jury received 37 participants of different nationalities in the UAE, 319 in Egypt, and 73 in Morocco. 

 

 

 

 

Moreover, 465 participants from Arab countries, as well as Arab talents from Europe and America submitted to online performance tests.

 

 

 

 

Organized by Sharjah TV, which is affiliated with the Sharjah Radio and Television Authority,  Sharjah Munshid Program is one of the most important competition programs aimed at discovering singing talents in the Arab world. 

 

 

 

 

Over the course of 15 years, the program contributed to the graduation of dozens of vocalists, who have gained a prominent position in this field, and have a great presence in the circles of purposeful art.
