After mesmerizing the audience and the stars alike since his first appearance in Amr Salama’s “Barra El Manhag” at the film’s premiere at Red Sea International Film Festival, here is more about the talented child Omar Sharif:

 

1- He started acting at the age of 11.
 
2-Barra El Manhag marks his first acting experience.
 
 
 
3-He studied acting while preparing for his role in the film just like the rest of the children who accompanied him in the film.
 
 
4-Besides acting, Omar Sharif likes to rap.
 
 
5-He plays football.
 
 
6-He was selected to star in the film after thousands of auditions with other children.
 
 
7- Director Amr Salama auditioned Omar Sharif along with another child in the character’s costumes before finally settling on Omar.
