CAIRO – 23 December 2021: On December 27, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina is organizing a symposium titled "The Year 2022: An Egyptian Vision", in a Cairo hotel from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

A number of ministers, experts and intellectuals will speak at the symposium about the projects, initiatives and achievements looming on the horizon of Egyptian society in 2022, which come within the framework of the tireless efforts undertaken by the Egyptian state over the past years.

The Egyptian state is hosting the United Nations Climate Summit, is witnessing important celebrations and inaugurations in the field of tourism and antiquities, is strengthening partnerships with the civil society, and is expanding development projects, especially in the countryside and the New Administrative Capital.  This is in addition to emphasizing the impact of the Egyptian soft powers in its regional and international surroundings.

The symposium comes in light of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina's interest in issues related to modern Egyptian state building.
