The closing ceremony of the 43rd edition of Cairo International Film Festival kick off with the National Anthem.

Jasmine Taha Zaki: I am proud to stand on the stage of Cairo Opera House at the closing ceremony of CIFF.

Jasmine Taha Zaki: Welcome CIFF guests and cinema lovers.

Jasmine Taha Zaki: In this edition we enjoyed watching more than 110 movies.

Jasmine Taha Zaki: There were 15 movies competing in the international competition of the festival.

CIFF screens a video summarizing the major events that took place in the 43rd edition of Cairo International Film Festival.

Mohamed Hefzy: I wish all CIFF guests enjoyed this edition as much as I enjoyed it.

Mohamed Hefzy: I would like to thank great director Hany Abou Asaad.

Mohamed Hefzy: I would like to thank veteran Egyptian actor Abdelrahman Abou Zahra for coming.

Mohamed Hefzy: A large number of people were keen to follow CIFF events, movies and seminar.

Mohamed Hefzy: We broke a new record in this edition we sold over 43,000 tickets.

Mohamed Hefzy: I would like to thank Minister of Culture Ines Abdel Dayem for her continuous support to the festival.

Mohamed Hefzy: I would like to thank the higher consultancy committee of the festival which house prominent names such as Hala Khalil, Tarek el Shenawy, Jasmine Taha Zaki, Leila Elwi and Omar Abdel Aziz.

Mohamed Hefzy: I would like to thank CIFF team and Ministry of Health.

Mohamed Hefzy: I would like to thank Meriam Degheidy, Omar Kassem, Andrew Mohsen and Sara Besada.
