CAIRO – 5 December 2021: Al-Masar Gallery in Zamalek will hold an exhibition for the artist Hazem Taha Hussein, entitled "Hamzet Wasl", on December 12 at 6 p.m.

The exhibition is an extension of the artist’s and impressions on the subject of aesthetics of expression and abstraction in the Egyptian civilization, which began with previous exhibitions.

In this exhibition, the artist presents 17 new works that embody contemporary abstraction as perceived by Hussein and influenced by his artistic identity and visual culture.

Hussein prepared this exhibition during the COVID-19 pandemic from the end of 2019 until today. The works came in two groups, many of them in small sizes, executed in ink or acrylic on paper, and others were painted on canvas.

The exhibition runs until January 11, 2022.
