CAIRO – 22 November 2021: The General Egyptian Book Organization is preparing to launch the first Madinaty Book Fair, which is scheduled to launch on November 30.

 

 

 

 

The book fair will be launched with the participation of a number of publishing houses and various sectors of the Ministry of Culture.

 

 

 

 

The General Egyptian Book Organization will participate, offering discounts on various publications, to encourage youth to read and buy different books.

 

 

 

 

The Madinaty Book Fair comes as the General Egyptian Book Organization’s new step towards holding exhibitions in new cities, with the aim of achieving cultural justice, spreading knowledge, and providing books to all citizens regardless of their locations.

 

 

 

 

It is noteworthy that the General Egyptian Book Organization is preparing for the 53rd Cairo International Book Fair, which is scheduled to be held at the end of January 2022.

 

 

 

 

Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem announced the extension of the period allocated for submitting the publishers’ applications to participate in the 53rd Cairo International Book Fair until November 25.

 

 

 

 

The 53rd Cairo International Book Fair will launch on January 26 and will run until February 6, 2022, at the Egypt Center for International Exhibitions and Conferences in the Fifth Settlement. Greece will be the guest of honor.
