Farid el-Atrash Fan Club to celebrate Asmahan’s birth anniversary on Nov. 21

CAIRO – 14 November 2021: Farid el-Atrash Fan Club, in cooperation with Egypt’s Plastic Arts Sector, will celebrate Asmahan’s birth anniversary on November 21 at 6 p.m., in Hall 2 of the Civilization Cinema Center at the Cairo Opera House.

The celebration’s program includes the screening of a documentary film about Asmahan's life, entitled "A Melody Not Completed", directed by the artist Adel el-Sayed.

After the screening of the film, veteran art critic Tariq el-Shennawi, the artist Seif Abdel Rahman, and the art critic Zaki Mustafa, will speak about Asmahan’s cinematic roles and her most important artistic milestones.

Moreover, the Farid el-Atrash Fan Club will honor the distinguished artist Ahmed Salama, for his role in embodying the character of Ahmed Badrakhan in the series “Asmahan” in 2008.

The celebration will also include singing performances.
