Izabela Uchman is a Polish artist, who specializes in micro-restoration. She obtained a master's degree with distinction in 2002 from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where she worked in the Department of Restoration of Multicolored Paintings and Sculptures.

She has participated in the preservation of Egyptian heritage through her work as a restoration specialist with the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities, the Restoration Center of the Grand Egyptian Museum, the Japanese International Cooperation Agency, the Polish Center for Mediterranean Archeology and the University of Warsaw.

Uchman has also participated in many projects in Egypt, Syria and Lebanon, the most important of which are the project of preserving and restoring the Temple of Hatshepsut in Luxor and the project of restoring Khufu's Second Ship in Giza.

It was Izabela's fondness for the Arabic language that led her to explore Arabic calligraphy as a tool for artistic expression. She has developed her language skills within the University of Warsaw and the Polish-Arab Friendship Association and has expanded her knowledge through her work as a lecturer at Al-Alsun College of Languages affiliated to Ain Shams University in Cairo.
