CAIRO – 31 October 2021: On October 30, Executive Director of the San Francisco Museums of Fine Arts Thomas Campbell, accompanied with a high-level delegation of 25 members, visited Egypt’s artist Farouk Hosny at his museum in Zamalek.

 

 

 

 

The visit could be described as an artistic and cultural visit, where Hosni and his American visitors spoke about his artistic works, art in general and Egyptian art in particular, where the guests got acquainted with the activities of the Farouk Hosni Foundation for Culture and Arts and its support for talented youth.

Hosny accompanied the guests on an inspection tour to see the important holdings of his museum, as well as the works of other senior Egyptian and international artists.

It is worth noting that the visit was attended by Director of Bibliotheca Alexandrina Mostafa el-Feki.

 

 

 

 

At the end of the visit, the Thomas Campbell and his accompanying delegation praised the warm reception they received and expressed their immense happiness to visit Farouk Hosny and his museum, noting that this meeting is a gesture of future cooperation.
