CAIRO – 25 October 2021: The Cervantes Institute in Cairo, in cooperation with the Camera Club at the Alexandria Atelier, is organizing the second exhibition entitled “Andalusians in Cairo”, on October 25 at 7 p.m., at the Cervantes Institute in Cairo.

 

 

 

This exhibition comes with the participation of Spanish researcher specializing in the history of Andalusians in Egypt, Pedro Ignacio del Castillo, and Director of the Camera Club Mohamed Fawzy Ali.

 

 

 

Del Castillo and Fawzi held a workshop to study the personalities of the Andalusians who lived in Cairo. Seven personalities were studied, and an exhibition was organized to introduce their impact on the historical, religious and civic levels of the Egyptian life.
