CAIRO – 13 July 2021: On July 13, many important events took place.

 

 

Important world events:

 

1837 - Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom moves to Buckingham Palace, becoming the first queen to live in this palace, which is still the official residence of the royal family.

 

1854 - The viceroy  of Egypt and Sudan, Abbas Helmy I, is assassinated in his palace in Benha.

 

1930 - The first World Cup soccer tournament launches in Uruguay.
