CAIRO – 7 July 2021: Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities Mostafa Waziri signed a contract with Deputy Czech Ambassador to Cairo Robert Tripes, to extend the exhibition "Kings of the Sun" in the Czech capital Prague to September 30, 2021. It was scheduled to conclude at the end of June.

Waziri said that this is the second time that the duration of the "Kings of the Sun" exhibition has been extended at the request of the Czech side, noting that it was initially set to end in January 2021.

It is worth noting that the “Kings of the Sun” exhibition was inaugurated by Egypt’s Minister of Tourism & Antiquities Khaled El-Enani, Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš  and Czech Minister of Culture Lubomír Zaorálek in August 2020, coinciding with the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the archaeological work of the Czech mission in Abu Sir.
