CAIRO - 6 July 2021: Within the role of museums as an integrated cultural beacon to consolidate identity, develop society, spread cultural awareness and enrich art and culture in society, the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat organized the world premiere of “Being Free” documentary.

”Being Free” is a 27-minute documentary film that revolves around visualizing the role of plastic artist in his art and his role in the creative process through portraying the ceramic artist, Heba Helmy.

Helmy is a lover of ceramic art and the creator of a unique pattern of ceramics that evokes elements of the Egyptian heritage.

 

The film is translated from Arabic into English, and it was shown in the museum theater which is one of the distinctive components of the museum and is technically equipped at the highest level.
