Taba Heights Summer Festival in the arms of nature

CAIRO – 8 July 2017: The Taba Heights Summer Night’s Festival took place this year in the arms of nature from 6 to 8 July. Under the sparkling stars of Taba Heights, the stunning Sinai region is helping to refresh tourism in Egypt, especially in the coastal Taba region.

This year, Taba Heights Summer Night’s Festival included Lebanese superstars Wael Jassar and Melhem Zein who entertained crowds with his captivating and versatile voice. The event also presented a wide variety of entertainment ranging from live singers including Shady Jamil, Ahmed Mostafa and Marwa Mahmoud, to amazing belly dancers such as Oxana and Kristina.

According to Emad al-Tarabishi, the general supervisor of Taba summer events in 2017, the festival saw a 70 percent increase in the occupations of hotels in Taba and around 1,500 people attended the festival.

Al-Tarabishi added that the pan-Arab choice of artists and singers was one of the reasons that encouraged such a wide audience from Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon to attend the festival.

Al-Tarabishi cited the success of the event due to the varied shows offered such as Russian dancing and other artistic performances that suit the taste of the public audience.
