CAIRO - 5 June 2021: The 69th edition of Egyptian Catholic Center for Cinema Festival will kick off from June 11 - 18.

 
The annual film festival is  headed by Father Botros Daniel with the help of Egyptian cinema producers Magdy Samy and Michael Maher.
 
The 69th edition will grant its Film Leadership Award to renowned Egyptian actors Hassan Youssef, Hala Fakher, Hussein Fahmy and Sohair Al Morshedy.
 
The Artistic Creativity Award will be given to Veteran Egyptian musician Omar Khairat and Iconic Egyptian singer Mohamed Mounir.
 
The 69th edition of Egyptian Catholic Center for Cinema Festival will witness the screening of a number of acclaimed Egyptian movies such as ‘Yom w Leila’ ( A Day and Nigth), ‘Sandouk El Donia’ ( Wonder Box), ‘B Elm Elwesoul’ ( Certified Mail), Saheb El Makam’ and ‘Curfew’.
 
 
Egyptian film “Saheb el Makam” was premiere on Shahid Vod on July 3.

 

This was the first major film in the Middle East to premiere on a vod platform before it hits theaters.

 

Egyptian superstars Yousra and Asser Yassin co-star in ‘’ Saheb el Makam”.

 

 

 

Yousra appears throughout the events of the film to Yassin who embodies the role of a wealthy businessman, in the form of a spirit and chases him. 

 

Beside Yassin and Yousra, the movie stars Amina Khalil, Riham Abdel Gahfour, Bayoumi Fouad, Nesrine Amin among others. ‘’ Saheb el Makam’’ is written by Ibrahim Eissa, directed by Mando el Adl and produced by Ahmed el Sobky.
