CAIRO - 6 July 2017: Renowned Egyptian music composer and violinist Mohammed Sami will be performing live at Room Art & Space Café in Garden City on July 13.

Sami has been implying new modern technique as part of his projects, where he tries to dissect Egyptian music by exploring the violin rhythmic and harmonic direct value.

He has worked with international artists and bands such as Fathy Salama, Black Theama band, Italian Frederick Gill, Swiss Moricio Lazaro, Syrian Lena Chamamyan, and Asita Hamidi among other musicians.

Graduating from the Institute of Arabic Music, Sami is known for playing a fusion of Arabic/classical music and has learned about oriental Egyptian music for two years with his mentor and Maestro Abdo Dagher in 1997, according to his official Facebook page.

He is also known for participating in a variety of projects such as forming Baladi Band in 2012, a joint project with El Mastaba Center for Egyptian Folk Music, and composed a limited edition album called From Far Away in 2012, among other projects.
