CAIRO – 22 April 2021: The Supreme Council of Culture, in cooperation with the External Cultural Relations Sector, organized the 13th evening of the Cultural Relations Initiative, under the title "Egypt and Indonesia: Cultural Relations - Celebrating Ramadan" on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, and in celebration of the Egyptian-Indonesian cultural relations. 

 

 

 

The evening was moderated by Hisham Azmy, and included a speech for Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Cairo Lotfi Raouf, and Former Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt Redha Al-Taifi.

 

 

 

Indonesian Ambassador to Cairo Lotfi Raouf stressed the importance of deepening his country's relations with Egypt, boosting the continuous communication between the two friendly peoples of Indonesia and Egypt, and enhancing the joint cooperation in all fields, most importantly in the cultural field. The ambassador concluded by highlighting the great similarity between the Indonesians and Egyptians.
