Egypt’s NMEC organizes scientific, cultural forum on importance of museums in reviving heritage

CAIRO – 21 April 2021: The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat organized a scientific and cultural forum entitled "The Role of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in the Revival of Heritage and Encouragement of Tourism."

 

 

 

This comes within the framework of the cultural and educational activities carried out by the museum, highlighting the importance of civilizational communication between the museum, institutions and universities interested in heritage.

 

 

 

Executive Chairman of the museum Ahmed Ghoneim explained that this forum is the first cooperation between the Center for Economic and Financial Research and Studies in the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, and the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization.

 

 

 

Attended by a group of professors, researchers and specialists, the forum aims to add scientific, social, economic and recreational aspects to museums, to commensurate with the spirit of our modern times, shedding light on the role of museums as institutions working to serve and develop society, according to Ghoneim.
