Egypt’s Minister of Culture: Artistic, cultural and knowledge projects in the ‘Hayat Karima’ [Decent Life] Initiative

CAIRO – 19 April 2021: Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem convened with Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Hayat Karima Foundation Aya Omar Mohammed, to discuss the joint action plan in the 1500- village project, held under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, within the presidential initiative, A Decent Life.

 

 

 

During the meeting, the Minister of Culture was briefed on some studies and data related to the Decent Life Initiative in the villages targeted for the implementation of a set of cultural projects.

 

 

 

Abdel Dayem confirmed that the Decent Life Initiative reflects the state’s concern for its citizens in various parts of Egypt, noting that it is one of the steps that contribute to the comprehensive development of the neediest rural communities nationwide and the upgrading of the social, economic and environmental levels of the targeted families.

 

 

 

The Minister of Culture added that a set of various artistic, and cultural projects are being prepared to revive and strengthen the Egyptian identity, supporting the cultural role in the governorates, and achieving cultural justice by bringing the cultural product to all parts of the country.
