9th Edition of Faisal Ramadan Book Fair to kick off on April 20

CAIRO – 18 April 2021: The ninth Faisal Ramadan Book Fair is scheduled to kick off on April 20. The book fair was cancelled in 2020 due to the global pandemic.

Preparations began by setting up tents and pergolas for publishing houses, and getting the venues, where cultural and artistic events will be held on the sidelines of the exhibition, ready.

Some 42 publishing houses are scheduled to participate in the book fair, including the various sectors of the Ministry of Culture, Dar Al-Maaref Foundation, a number of private publishing houses Al-Azbakeya Wall.

On the sidelines of the exhibition, artistic performances will be held, as well as drawing and coloring workshops for children.

The book fair will operate daily from 8 p.m. until 12 a.m.
