Memory of the day: Founding of Arab Organization for Space Research ‘Arabsat’ in 1976

CAIRO – 14 April 2021: On April 14, many important events that changed the world map took place.

Important world events:-

1182 - The Grand Mosque of Seville opens, after ten years of construction.

1883 - Alexander Graham Bell succeeds in making the first telephone call between two cities.

1912 - The Titanic collides with an iceberg in the Atlantic Ocean, causing it to sink more than three hours later on April 15th.

1956 - The first "videotape" is screened at a conference of the National Organization of Broadcasters.

1976 - The Arab Organization for Space Research, Arabsat, is founded.
