GEM’s team continue to place King Tutankhamun’s artifacts inside its designated halls

CAIRO – 11 April 2021: General Supervisor of the Grand Egyptian Museum project and the surrounding area Atef Moftah convened with the working team responsible to install artifacts in the two halls of King Tutankhamun.

 

 

The convention was attended by Assistant Minister for Archaeological Affairs Al-Tayeb Abbas, General Director of the Restoration Center Hussein Kamal, and Director General of Executive Affairs for Restoration and Transfer of Antiquities Issa Zeidan.

 

 

The meeting aimed to follow up on the latest developments, to find out what has been implemented, and to discuss the team’s proposals or obstacles, to provide them with full support and facilitate their mission.

 

 

During the meeting, Atef Moftah praised the efforts exerted by the team and showed his support and appreciation for them, stressing the importance of their work, and wishing everyone lasting excellence in what they do and present to their country.
