CAIRO – 6 April 2021: CEO of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization Ahmed Ghoneim revealed the official operating hours for the museum during the holy month of Ramadan.

Operating hours for the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Ramadan will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.

Ghoneim further stated that a proposal will be submitted to Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Khaled El-Anany and the museum’s board of directors in its first meeting, requesting to open the museum for a second period during the holy month of Ramadan after Iftar. If approved, this will be on specific days and not on all days of the week.
