CAIRO – 5 April 2021: On April 5 at 6 p.m., Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem inaugurates artist Adam Hanin’s exhibition "The Journey", in the presence of Head of the Fine Arts Sector Khaled Sorour and Head of the Central Administration of Art Centers Dalia Mustafa.

The exhibition will be held in Aisha Fahmy Palace.

This large retrospective exhibition comes within the framework of the Ministry of Culture's keenness, represented in the Fine Arts Sector, to honor a great symbol of Egyptian art after his passing in 2020, in recognition of his great creative career.

The exhibition presents the career of Adam Hanin, who remained a pioneer from the fifties of the last century until his death, through a unique collection of more than 150 works of art between sculpture and photography that showcase examples of all the artist's productions in different stages.

It is noteworthy that this exhibition comes in cooperation with the Adam Hanin Foundation for Fine Art, that institution that the late artist was keen to establish to take care of his works and artistic history in addition to its cultural and artistic role in the service of the Egyptian plastic movement.
