The Egyptian instrument "Semsemeya" famous in Port Said Governorate - Wikipedia

CAIRO – 1 April 2021: The Supreme Council of Culture announced opening the participation in the competition "Playing & Singing on the Semsemeya Instrument", which was proposed by the Council's Committee for Music, Opera and Ballet.

 

 

 

The competition is launched in implementation of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, within the plan to promote cultural heritage, development and encouragement of  the talented in general and talented youth in particular, and as part of the Egyptian Ministry of Culture’s celebrations of Port Said as the Capital of Egyptian Culture 2021.

 

 

 

The Supreme Council of Culture clarified that the deadline for participating in the competition is May 25, 2021, and the results of the competition and the names of the winners will be announced on May 31, 2021.
