CAIRO – 22 March 2021: On March 22, Minister of Social Solidarity Nevine el-Kabbaj signed a cooperation protocol with the Ministry of Culture in the presence of Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem with the aim of benefiting from the Bahna Film Company at the headquarters of the Ministry of Social Solidarity.

The Minister of Culture said that the protocol concerns the Egyptian cinematic heritage, and comes in accordance with the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, to preserve that heritage.

Inas Abdel Dayem explained that the ministry is in the process of forming committees to examine the teams of Bahna Company, stressing that the cinematic heritage protocol is only the first of a series of important protocols with the Ministry of Solidarity that will benefit Egyptian villages, countryside and slum areas.

For her part, Nevine el-Kabbaj said that she is happy to visit the Minister of Culture and take advantage of the company to preserve the Egyptian identity through taking pride in Egypt’s heritage.

Kabbaj explained that the cooperation with the Ministry of Culture is a “classy cooperation”, especially because the Minister of Culture is a doctor and an artist.
