CAIRO – 21 February 2021: Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank – Egypt (ADIB) recorded a decline in its profits by 3 percent in 2020, recording LE 1.19 billion, compared to LE 1.22 billion during 2019, including minority rights.

 

The bank stated in a statement on Sunday that the bank's net income from the yield increased to LE 3.106 billion, compared to a net of LE 3.077 billion in 2019.

 

As for standalone results, the bank’s profits increased during 2020 to record LE 1.15 billion, compared to LE 1.102 billion in 2019.

 

The bank achieved a net profit during the first nine months of 2020, amounting to LE 844.265 million, compared to a net profit of LE 967.03 million pounds during the same period of 2019.

 

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank operates within the Banks sector focusing on Diversified Banks. It has been listed on Egyptian Exchange (EGX) since June 1996
