Egyptian pound continues upward trend against US dollar at major banks

CAIRO - 11 February 2021: The Egyptian pound continued its upward trend against the US dollar during Thursday's transactions, backed by the issuance of international bonds worth $3.7 billion.


The dollar price registered LE 15.56 for buying and LE 15.66 for selling at eight banks.
 

At the Commercial International Bank, the dollar price recorded LE 15.56 for buying and LE 15.66 for selling.


At Credit Agricole, the United Bank, Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait and Misr Iran, the dollar was traded at LE 15.57 for buying and LE 15.67 for selling 
 

At the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and Banque Misr, the dollar price reached LE 15.58 for buying and LE 15.68 for selling.


At Alexandria Bank, the dollar was exchanged at LE 15.59 for buying and LE 15.69 for selling.
