CAIRO – 8 February 2021: Infinity Company reviewed its plan to expand its network of electric vehicle charging stations in the Egyptian market, in line with the directions and plans of the Egyptian government to establish an integrated system for electric cars in the country.

The company said in a statement, Monday, that it owns a network of electric vehicle charging stations that includes more than 40 stations and more than 150 charging points.

It said it aims to open more than 300 charging stations in Egypt by the end of 2023, which requires pumping investments of up to LE 300 million to achieve this strategic goal.

Infinity added that Infinity electric car charging stations are equipped with chargers manufactured by EVBox, the largest European company leading in the manufacture and supply of electric car chargers, which enables each station to charge at least two electric cars at the same time, with some stations equipped with multiple chargers that can charge up to 6 cars together.

The company indicated that electric vehicle owners can also use adaptor cables to charge their cars at the stations as an alternative to the standard cables available at the stations.
