Egyptian-Kazakh business forum important for fostering cooperation

ASTANA - 3 July 2017: Egyptian Ambassador to Kazakhstan Haitham Salah Kamel underlined on Monday the importance of the Egyptian-Kazakh business forum in fostering cooperation and ironing out hurdles facing trade exchange.

During his opening of the forum, the diplomat said Egypt and Kazakhstan are qualified to have a strong economic partnership to serve the interests of the two friendly peoples.

He said President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's visit to Kazakhstan in February of 2016 paved the way for a new stage of cooperation between the two countries.

During the forum, an agreement was inked between Egypt's Industry Modernization Center (IMC) and the Kazakh Invest Company to set up joint investments.
