USD stable, Euro and GBP hikes against Egyptian pound

CAIRO – 1 July 2017: The exchange rate of the U.S. dollar stabilized against the Egyptian pound in Saturday morning’s banking transactions, while the euro and GBP jumped.
Dollar exchange recorded an average buying rate of LE 18.040 ($0.99) and sold at LE 18.139 ($0.99) against the Egyptian pound.

The euro inched up to an average of LE 20.44 for buying and LE 20.55, up from an average of LE 20.09 for buying and LE 20.21 for selling as marked last week.
The Great British Pound (GBP) also went up to register LE 23.14 for buying and LE 23.28 for selling, compared to LE 22.86 for buying and LE 22.99 for selling in the last banking transactions on Wednesday.

Arab currencies remained stable against the Egyptian pound as the Saudi Riyal marked LE 4.80 for buying and LE 4.83 for selling, and the Emirati Dirham recorded LE 4.91 for selling and LE 4.93 for buying.
The Kuwaiti dinar declined to LE 59.48 for buying and LE 59.83 for selling.
