Egypt's imports of TVs decline by $66.76M during July

CAIRO – 28 October 2020: Egypt’s imports of televisions dipped $66.76 million during July 2020, recording $7.86 million, compared to $74.62 million in July 2019,  according to state-statistic center.

 

The data issued by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics showed that TV imports came within the Egyptian imports of durable consumer goods, which amounted to about $266.69 million, compared to $638.12 million in July 2019, marking a decrease of $371.43 million.

 

The list included a group of the most important imports of consumer durable goods, such as passenger cars, which fell to $172.39 million last July, compared to $253.73 million in the same month in 2019, with a decrease of $81.34 million.

 

The Egyptian imports of furniture and seats fell by $8.42 million, reaching $6.13 million in July, compared to $14.54 million in the same month of a prior year.

 

The list also included imports of tape and magnetic disks of all kinds, at a value of $386,000 last July, compared to $659,000 in the same month in 2019, with a decline of about $273,000.
