“Turathna” exhibition for handcrafts to be extended till Saturday

CAIRO - 15 October 2020: Trade and Industry Minister Nevin el Gamea decided on Wednesday to extend the convocation of “Turathna” (Our Heritage) Exhibition for traditional and heritage handicrafts till Saturday, October 17.

 
The move comes after the high turnout of visitors to the exhibition and in recognition of exhibitors' efforts to render the event a success, the minister said in a statement.
 
 
She expressed happiness over the visit of Egypt's First Lady Entissar El Sisi to the exhibition, saying the visit reflected the State's keenness on encouraging youths' projects, especially those working in the handicrafts domain.
 
 
The First Lady honored a number of exhibitors operating in the micro enterprises.
 
The exhibition was organized by the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (MSMEDA).
 
More than 600 exhibitors nationwide are participating in the 2020 edition
