CAIRO - 12 October 2020: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli chaired on Monday a meeting to review e-services offered by the Digital Egypt platform across the nation.

The meeting was attended by Supply Minister Ali Moselhi, Justice Minister Amr Marawan, Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat and Prosecutor General Hamada el Sawy.

The premier lauded efforts exerted to carry out this project, which he said aims at automating all governmental services and expanding the e-payment system to achieve financial inclusion.

The trial operation of the digital platform started with 34 services in July, Talaat said, adding that 72 more services are expected to be launched by the end of 2020, 210 services in 2021, 170 in 2022 and 98 in 2023.

Moselhi, for his part, stressed the need to expand the use of technology centers at governmental institutions to provide electronic services for citizens through the digital platform.
