CAIRO - 28 June 2017: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) gains have hit a record high of more than LE 92 billion during the first half of 2017.
The gains have been attributed to strong purchase operations by local and foreign investment funds.
Market capital reached LE 693.4 billion at the end of trading in the last session during the first half of 2017, according to EGX statistics, a copy of which MENA received Wednesday.
The EGX 30 benchmark index upped by 8.5 percent to reach 13,395.81 points.
