Industry min., S. Sinai governor confer on development projects in city

CAIRO - 25 August 2020: Trade and Industry Minister Nevine Gamae met Tuesday with South Sinai governor Khaled Fouda to discuss industrial development plans in the governorate.


The meeting took up cooperation between the two sides to benefit from handicrafts and create more jobs for residents of South Sinai.


A Ministry statement said Gamae and Fouda also discussed developments regarding the establishment of Abu Zeinema industrial zone, which is one of the promising projects in South Sinai.


Gamae said her Ministry is keen on completing this project, which is part of the industrial development plan. 


They also talked about establishing handicrafts complexes in the city, the statement said, adding that tourists are particularly interested in those products. 


Fouda said he is keen on coordinating action with the different ministries and government bodies to improve the economic landscape in South Sinai. 


He posted Gamae on important investment opportunities in the governorate. 


Fouda was pleased with the level of cooperation with the trade and industry minister to support development projects in South Sinai.
