CAIRO - 16 August 2020: The US dollar exchange rate maintained its downward trend during transactions at Egypt's banks on Sunday, amid a rise in foreign currency inflows during the previous weeks, thanks to the resumption of tourism and increase in foreign investments.

The dollar rate declined to LE 15.88 for buying and LE 15.98 for selling at 11 banks, including the National Bank of Egypt (NBE), Banque Misr, Bank of Alexandria, BLOM Bank, Al Mashreq Bank, the United Bank of Egypt and Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait.

Last week, the price of the dollar recorded LE 15.92 for buying and LE 16.02 for selling.
