CAIRO - 15 July 2020: Eleven Egyptian companies are currently taking part in the virtual Global Apparel Sourcing Expo USA 2020, the Egyptian Ready Made Garments Export Council (RMGEC) said Wednesday.
In a press statement, the council said the one-month exhibit is organized by the International Apparel Federation and Sourcing Journal.
Egypt's participation in the event comes as part of its cooperation with the GTEX/MENATEX project, which provides full support for seven Egyptian garment manufacturers, the council added.
The virtual expo, accessible through www.globalapparelsourcing.com, will feature almost 200 exhibiting garment manufacturers and will be powered by Foursource, who is providing the technological platform for the event with a specific focus on B2B matchmaking.
