Minister, S.Sinai governor talk investment plans up to 2030

CAIRO -23 June 2017: Investment and International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr discussed with South Sinai Governor Khaled Fouda investment plans in the governorate until 2030.

In a press release, the Investment Ministry said they reviewed several investment projects, including the establishment of Ras Sidr airport and a new marina in Sharm el Shiekh as well as the development of Sharm el Shiekh and Taba airports and El Tor port.

About 974 million dollars is allocated for South Sinai projects which include the establishment of seven Bedouin complexes, seven agriculture complexes, El Tor university and five water desalination plants and the development of Ain Moussa-Sharm el Shiekh road and El Tor port.

During the meeting, the governor reviewed the workflow in a number of projects in the governorate.

Meanwhile, the minister had talk with New Valley Governor Mohamed el Zamallot on means of establishing an investment zone in the governorate.

They also discussed the establishment of a sewage project in five villages in the governorate.
