CAIRO – 20 June 2017: Foreign currency exchange rates stabilized against the Egyptian pound in Tuesday morning’s banking transactions.

The U.S. dollar exchange recorded an average buying rate of LE 18.046 and sold at LE 18.145 against the Egyptian pound.

Meanwhile, the Euro went up to record an average of LE 20.23 for buying and LE 20.34 for selling, up from an LE 20.14 buyers' rate and selling rate of LE 20.25 at the beginning of the week.

The British Pound (GBP) marked an average of LE 23.09 for buyers and LE 23.22 for selling, according to Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) rates.

Arab currencies remained stable against the Egyptian pound as the Saudi Riyal marked LE 4.81 for buying and LE 4.83 for selling, and the Emirati Dirham recorded LE 4.91 for selling and LE 4.94 for buying.

The Kuwaiti dinar registered LE 59.42 and sold at LE 59.87.
