FEDCOC, Portugal confer on means to boost cooperation

CAIRO - 27 February 2020: Chairman of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC) and President of the Chamber of Commerce in Cairo Ibrahim al Araby conferred with Portuguese Ambassador to Egypt Manuela Franco on means to boost cooperation and establish joint partnerships in the different sectors.

In a statement on Thursday, Araby said increasing cooperation, exchanging information and exploring trade and investment opportunities in Egypt and Portugal lead to establishing partnerships between Egyptian and Portuguese businessmen.

Araby necessitated increasing cooperation with the Portuguese embassy in the coming stage to support economic reforms especially in light of investment opportunities available in the Egyptian market after the Egyptian economic reforms that were carried out lately.

Meanwhile, Franco asserted the desire of the Portuguese companies to invest in the Egyptian market.
