USD stable Monday, Euro up against Egyptian pound

CAIRO – 19 June 2017: Foreign currency exchange rates stabilized against the Egyptian pound in Monday morning’s banking transactions.

The U.S. dollar exchange recorded an average buying rate of LE 18.04 and sold at LE 18.14 against the Egyptian pound.

Meanwhile, the Euro went up to record an average of LE 20.20 for buying and LE 20.32 for selling, up from an LE 20.14 buyers' rate and selling rate of LE 20.25 on the day before, according to Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) rates.

The British Pound (GBP) marked an average of LE 23.05 for buyers and LE 23.20 for selling.

Arab currencies remained stable against the Egyptian pound as the Saudi Riyal marked LE 4.81 for buying and LE 4.83 for selling, and the Emirati Dirham recorded LE 4.91 for selling and LE 4.94 for buying.

The Kuwaiti dinar registered LE 59.45 and sold at LE 59.80, up from LE 59.21 for Thursday's buying price and sold for LE 59.55.
