Dollar price down at Egypt's major banks

CAIRO - 5 September 2019:The US dollar exchange rate maintained its downward trend during transactions at major banks on Thursday, dropping by more than LE 140 piasters since January.

At the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr, the dollar rate declined by three piasters, recording LE 16.45 for buying and LE 16.55 for selling.

It also went down by three piasters at and the Commercial International Bank, registering LE 16.43 for buying and LE 16.53 for selling.

The dollar price stood at LE 16.44 for buying and LE 16.54 for selling at the Arab African International Bank.

At the National Bank of Greece, the dollar exchange rate was down by four piasters, registering LE 16.44 for buying and LE 16.54 for selling.
