Cabinet approves contract on East Port Said port

EL ALAMEIN, Egypt - 22 August 2019: The cabinet approved, during its weekly meeting on Thursday, under Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli a contract for design, establishment, management, operation and maintenance of a multi-purpose station at East Port Said port between Suez Canal Authority and a company.

The contract stipulates allocating a 900-meter quay with BOT system on 330,000 square meters.

The cabinet also approved establishing SCZone Utilities company which is a joint-stock Egyptian company that does all the construction work, owns, operates, manages and maintains the different utilities and projects in the Suez Canal Economic Zone.
