CAIRO – 11 June 2017: Egypt’s government is finalizing an inclusive investment map that will encompass investment opportunities in all governorates, Minister of Investment Sahar Nasr said Sunday.

Nasr said, during a meeting with the American Chambers of Commerce (AmCham) and the U.S. Egypt Business Council, that the map would be proposed to potential American investors.

During the meeting, Nasr listened to the recommendations of the AmCham members regarding the new investment’s law executive regulation.

Both parties also discussed cooperation in promoting the economic reform measures taken by the Egyptian government in front of American business associations.

Offering unprecedented guarantees and incentives to investors, the House of Representatives has approved in early May the long-awaited new investment law, which is expected to facilitate business procedures and accelerates arbitration of business disputes.

Last week, Nasr said the executive regulations of the new investment law will be submitted to the cabinet in a month.
