USD exchange rates steady in Sunday transactions

CAIRO – 28 May 2017: The U.S. dollar exchange rate stayed constant against the Egyptian pound in major banks Sunday, recording an average of LE 18.02 for buying and LE 18.12 for selling.

At the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and Banque Misr, the largest two public banks, the USD exchange rate stood at LE 17.95 for buying and LE 18.05 for selling.

As for the euro, it stood at LE 20.19 for buying and LE 20.32 for selling, while the Great British Pound (GBP) recorded LE for buying and LE for selling, according to data of state-owned banks.

The Arab currencies have remained steady against the Egyptian pound. The Saudi riyal marked LE 4.80 for buying and LE 4.83 for selling, while the Kuwaiti dinar registered LE 59.33 for buying and LE. 59.78 for selling.
