CAIRO - 24 September 2018: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes went down at the close of trading on Monday amid selling operations by local institutions and investment funds, while the Arab and foreign investors tended to purchase.

The market capital lost EGP 3.8 billion to reach EGP 784.7 billion amid transactions that hit about EGP 744.1 million.

The EGX 30 benchmark index dropped by 0.42% to close at 14,200.68 points.

The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) decreased by 0.02% to 687,81 points, while the broader index EGX-100 went down 0.24% to 1,751.37 points.
