MANAMA - 30 August 2018: The Bahraini-based Gulf Daily News in its editorial on Thursday shed light on the planned summit between Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

The paper hailed as important the summit, which comes in light of the latest development in Egyptian-Bahraini relations.

The article, titled "the strategic importance of the Bahraini-Egyptian summit," expressed optimism about the summit, expecting it will yield positive results regarding ongoing efforts to promote the Arab solidarity during the current critical stage.

Also, it lauded the strong ties and close coordination between the two countries on all Arab and international issues.
