CAIRO – 25 May 2017: The Saudi-Egyptian Construction Company (SECON) plans to establish a new residential complex in the New Administrative Capital on a area of 70 feddans (1 feddan = 1.038 acres), with a total investment worth LE 4 billion, the property developer said in a Wednesday statement.


According to the preliminary studies, the 2000-unit complex will be comprised of 65 buildings, seven floors high, to be established on areas ranging between 140 and 210 square meters, SECON’s CEO Darwish Hassanein said in the statement.

Hassanein confirmed that the company has already initiated the process of selecting the consultation office, which will take over the implementation of the project and its already-laid out designs.

Earlier in May, SECON has signed five contracts to establish other residential buildings, in cooperation with Al-Rowad for Construction and Development (Al-Rowad Group), El-Karnak Company for General Contracting and Supplies, Al -Shams for Contracting Prequalification, and El-Akkad for Engineering Works.
