Dollar rate up at major Egyptian banks

CAIRO - 29 August 2018: The exchange rate of the US dollar went up during Wednesday transactions at major banks.

The dollar exchange rate settled at LE 17.78 for buying and LE 17.88 for selling at the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr.

At the Commercial International Bank and Alexandria Bank, it rose one piaster to record LE17.85 for buying and LE 17.95 for selling.

The rate inched up one piaster to register LE17.85 for buying and LE 17.95 for selling at Banque du Caire.

At Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank-Egypt, it recorded LE 17.87 for buying and LE 17.97 for selling.
